Ellie Comerford

Ellie has worked for more than 35 years in financial services in Australia and overseas across a range of banking and insurance businesses in both an executive and non-executive capacity. Ellie is an experienced non-executive director with governance contributions to strategy, audit, risk and remuneration committees of current and prior boards leveraging significant experience in strategy planning, business development, risk management, corporate finance, and people and operations management, and bringing a track record of enhancing financial performance and leadership culture within organisations.

Prior executive roles include Senior Strategic Adviser and Group CFO of Hollard Australia and New Zealand, CEO and Managing Director of Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia Limited (successfully listing the company on the ASX in 2014), Chief Operating Officer International division of First American Financial Corporation, CEO and Managing Director of First Title Australia and New Zealand and various roles at Citigroup for close to 15 years.

Ellie has a strong passion for promoting diversity and is a member of Chief Executive Women in Australia, a forum to educate and influence Australian business and government on the importance of gender balance.
