Monique is an experienced senior leader with a successful track record of building high performing teams to deliver customer-centric go to market strategies and customer experience, digital product development and data-driven marketing communications to enhance customer loyalty and grow commercial returns. Monique joined Heartland in October 2021 to lead Heartland’s Brand Experience team, responsible for mass marketing, digital and direct marketing, experience design, customer experience, product management, customer and data analytics and design. In her current role, she leads Group-level marketing strategy, brand experience and communications.

She was worked for some of the most well-loved brands on both side of the Tasman – Qantas, Air New Zealand and her most recent role at Mercury NZ. Monique has been part of award-winning teams for best-in-class marketing strategies acknowledged by the NZ Direct Marketing Association, TVNZ Marketing Awards and Flight Global Loyalty Awards. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds certifications in Customer Experience (Forrester, CX-Pro).
